2014 World Park Congress

Year 5 and Year 6 students at the 2014 World Park Congress. The children worked in small groups, introducing themselves to delegates and asking questions while filming and managing sound levels. They then collaborated in their groups to create iMovies, which we viewed at the congress. To see the students negotiating, planning, thinking critically about what footage to keep and what to reject, being creative in their approach, discussing, supporting each, assigning roles, taking risks with their production, listening to each other’s ideas respectfully and solving problems as they arose and working together for common goals– it was fantastic for our technology adept, flexible 21st century learners.
